Kids Day in Wroclaw – June 1st

This is one of my favourite days of the year.

I get to sleep in and eat my breakfast in bed and do nothing all day long – haha I wish! Nope, it used to be my day, now I’m spoiling my Baby Boy and I love it!

I have prepared for you a few options of how to spend the children’s day in Wroclaw – there are heaps to do, so choose carefully so your child could have the day to remember. 

ODRA RIVER CUP 2019

The International rowing regatta “Odra River Cup” organised by the Wrocław University of Technology, and followed by the traditional family picnic. 

In addition, the boulevard will become a research town so, our children could try some scientific experiments, of course, under the supervision of students from science clubs. Future Einstein might be hiding right there that day. 

To have a great end to the day, there will be well-known musicians performing on the stage: Gooral and the Fisz Emade Tworzywo. Don’t know the guys but I’m sure they gonna rock the stage for us. Also, the organisers prepared a laser show at the end of the event for a big “wow”.

Schedule for the day:

• 12:00 gran opening of the Rowing Regatta 

• 12:00-18:00 family picnic plus science club stalls and workshops for children, games and contests with prizes, free boat trips on the Odra river, BBQ

• 12-17:00 Races

• 18:30 GOORAL concert

• 20:00 FISZ EMADE TWORZYWO concert

• 21:45 laser show

• 22:00 the end of the event

Creative Construction Site

This sounds like fun for not only Bob the Builder’s Fans.

A Creative Construction Site which will be accessible through a huge tunnel made of 250 bath wheels. The bravest kids will have the chance to have some fun at the creative construction site. 

There will be obstacle courses, big foam blocks, workshops, prize competitions and many other free attractions.

The event starts at 11am.

Street Art Event

Street Art Event is an event all about the graffiti, and the clash of academic culture with street art culture.

Your child will be able to see real artists in action. The Artists will paint on special surfacesprepared for the occasion,and inspired by live music will create large-format paintings using sprays, markers and paints.

If your child has some interest in painting and drawing, there will be a special zone allocated especially for them – smallartists. A 10-meter canvas-coloring book will be waiting to getpainted. 

Additional attractions:
